We've enjoyed a nice and warm weather last days, so I've worn lighter layers and lighter coats, particularly my purple coat and my teal jacket (both second hand purchases at eBay). This week I've worn a lot of teal color, which is one of my favorite (neutral) colors. I know it's not, but I like to use teal as a neutral, and I'm also used to wear khaki or dark green as neutrals. I think that you can create your own selection of neutral colors (actually, you can mix and match whatever you like!). So I've chosen teal, because it works nicely with any warm bold colors: yellow, orange, red or even purple. (Purple is not really a warm color, but it's the warmest of cold colors, so it could play in both teams!).
There are lots of possibilities, let's play!. And let's join IWillWearWhatILike

Teal's one of my favourite colours and I love that you call it a neutral, it really does go with everything - especially purple.

I just love teal and purple and they look fab individually and together. Your new jackets are lovely. I love your layering -it makes clothes much more interesting, I think. Hurry up Spring when we can switch to lighter jackets and won't need coats...

Teal is one of my favourite colours too! In fact, I was wearing teal tights like yours today, as well as a teal scarf and beret! I've never combined it with purple, but you've shown me they work well together. I can't tell you enough that I love how you embrace colour, Monica!
ResponderEliminarWe had some very warm days (warm for February) this past week and I enjoyed wearing my spring coats too! Teal is a favourite colour of mine too, and you certainly make it work as a neutral in your outfits. You have such a marvelous way with colour Monica!
