I've taken this photo in the early morning when clouds were threatening rain. I'm wearing my new floral skirt and an old cardigan I made a lot of years ago, but I think this ensemble would need more color and some casual complements to fit my own style.

It's nice to wear a beautiful brooch, and nicest when it's a present from a nice people: this is the felt cat from Istanbul that Mrs. Nimenos has offered to a random elected comment (mine!). And I'm glad to wear it on a sunny Sunday to go for a walk: Thanks!

Siempre es agradable llevar un broche bonito, y es mejor aún cuando es un regalo de alguien encantador: aquí está el gato de felpa traído de Estambul, que fue rifado por Nimenos ¡y ahora es mío!. Estoy encantada de llevarlo a pasear en este domingo soleado, ¡y muchas gracias!

new dress

This is the chambray dress I bought at La Redoute, and I was making some experiments with it to show to you. The fabric is easy to wrinkle (it often happens in many summer dresses), but I'm glad with this piece, cause it's fresh and comfy (wonderful pockets!)

Ha llegado el vestido de tejido chambray que compré en La Redoute y he estado probando combinaciones para mostrároslo. La tela es de las que se arrugan con facilidad, como suele suceder en los vestidos de verano, pero sigo estando contenta porque es un vestido fresco y cómodo, ¡y tiene bolsillos!

spring

It's a good moment to make space for spring stuff, so I must to arrange my closet, drawers, boxes and every compartment in my little wardrobe. I hate to do it, but it's so much difficult to dress up when you cannot see every item, when you cannot find whatever you want: you feel you're fighting against stuff instead of enjoying it!. Then, it's necessary some work now to make my mornings a little less stressed.

Ha llegado el momento de hacer sitio para las cosas primaverales, así que me toca ordenar el armario, cajones, cajas y cada compartimento de mi pequeño guardarropa. Claro que odio hacerlo, pero es tan difícil arreglarse cuando no tienes a la vista todas tus cosas, ni puedes encontrar lo que buscas: te da la sensación de estar luchando contra la ropa en vez de disfrutarla. Así que me toca trabajar un poco ahora, para hacer mis mañanas un poco menos estresantes.

I'm wearing something to feel comfortable, leggings and flat shoes, it's perfect for this mad weather, so suddenly warm I cannot believe: it's very difficult, 'cause I have nothing in my wardrobe to wear when it's 24ºC maximum but cold in the morning. I'm thinking in opening some of the boxes where I store spring-summer clothes...

Llevando una túnica/vestido y leggings: me gustan los leggings, los encuentro cómodos, y muy útiles si llevas un vestido tan corto que es más bien túnica o camiseta.

Algo deportivo y divertido para salir a dar una vuelta. Me he pasado la mayor parte del fin de semana en vaqueros: creo que es la mejor opción si vas a pasarte el día por ahí.
To go for a walk, something sporty and funny. I've worn jeans most of the weekend: I think it's the best option when you're going to spend the day out.

alive!

Aún estoy enferma, pero me siento algo mejor, lo bastante para salir un ratito. Y me apetecía llevar algo que no fuese simplemente cómodo. Así que, aunque está lloviendo, me he puesto un vestido con flores, para disfrutar un poco y sentir el aire fresco después de tantos días en casa.


I'm still sick, but I feel better enough to go out for a while. And I've decided not to wear something simply comfy. Although it's rainign, I've wanted to wear a dress (with flowers!), enjoy my outfit and feel a little bit of fresh air after some days at home.
