summertime colors

Last week it was incredibly hot, and I say Incredibly Hot because now it's all windy and chilly and it looks really incredible that a week ago we had 86ºF. But we had, and now I'm sharing with you what I did some days ago. We went to a nearby town where there was a local products fair, which it was a little crowded but I liked anyway (love markets!).

I've been busy with visitors at home and running errands too.
(Wheeled bins are not the best background, I know. But that's my Real Life!)

There are lots of things in my 'to do' list, one of the first ones is hanging some blinds outside the windows to block summer sun (and heat). Kitchen shelves, pictures and other decorative details are waiting too. At least, I own a new umbrella pot, made of a plastic flowerpot which I covered with glued paper. Every little step is important!

Voy pasito a pasito!

  1. What a lovely town! I'd love to visit Spain some day, so far I'm traveling thanks to your photos. :) I adore both outfits. The green skirt is gorgeous, and I love it with white. The black and white outfit is fantastic with the yellow tank and a great necklace. I own a very similar pair of sandals which are missing at the moment - we're in the midst of reorganizing everything, and I agree, every little step counts. :) And thank you for this brilliant idea for an umbrella stand! I love what you did. I've been looking at umbrella stands for a while now, but you give me an idea what to look for! :)

  4. Oh you do look summery! I love both your outfits and yellow really suits you.

Your umbrella container is so clever - well done.

We had a very cold week too, followed by a gorgeous week and this past week has been up and down - don't know what next week holds!

Hope your weekend is going well.
