It's still chilly, however I'm entering in a spring mood, so decided to wear a trench (instead of usual puff coats!). This kind of duster has been in my wardrobe for some years, and I recently tried to overdye it to refresh its color which was looking particularly dusty. Not my most successful dye job, as it looks almost the same. Anyway, it's a useful trench/duster in a purple shade, and it was time to wear it once more.
Obviously, I picked a warm jacket (tweed!), because it was cold. Then I picked a sundress, because I'm not really sensible and liked the matching colors. I believe that any summer dress could be worn over a turtleneck and tights and become a winter dress, but it doesn't always work. I think that this sundress is going to wait until real spring and then I'll give it another try (probably).

Some pics from my walks through the city. I like old store signs, even when they've been vandalized.
wonderful colors. And a great mash up of "what the heck season is it?" pieces.
ResponderEliminarLooking lovely in purples! I'm longing to get out my lighter coats as well. The duster's a great piece, and you have freshened up its colour at the very least. I love how you layered it over that Tweed jacket and your sun dress, and your tights are the most divine colour! Besos xxx
ResponderEliminarI love the textures and layering. This in-between seasons dressing isn't easy.

Lady in purple! Take a bow. You look wonderful and what an amazing array of tones of purple and different textures. I love the dress and the tweed jacket and the beret. I wouldn't have thought about dyeing a coat but what a good idea should I have a faded coat...

ResponderEliminarI love all the patterns and tones of purple together - beautiful clash!! I think this dress looks lovely in this combination, but of course it might be just too cold for it still. Purple is Your color! And your city looks so beautiful. <3
