This is what I've worn today to go to work, all in pink and green, and this straw bag that I've been wearing almost every day last weeks. It doesn't look like a very practical bag, but it Is! It can accommodate a bottle of water, a shawl, a hat and other everyday essentials!.
- skirt, La Redoute (ten years old!) / falda, de hace como diez años
- green blouse, Festa (sales!) / blusa verde, de rebajas!
- sandals, chiruca (factory outlet) / sandalias, de outlet de fábrica
- pendant, Silvereira (old) / colgante
- shawl, bought when in holiday / chal, lo compré de vacaciones
My new sport sandals were too flat for me, so I took them to the cobbler and he added this little heel and even painted a strip of pink on it to continue the sandal design. Isn't it fabulous and a lovely detail?
I really enjoyed the Thursday movie night, an open air cinema where we watched The Triplets of Belleville, a movie which I recommend you. I had watched it some years ago and loved the music, the humour and some amazing characters who made me think on Monsieur Hulot, a fav classic of mine.
The open air cinema is located in the backyard of a winery and there's some music before the movie (and some wine too, obviously) to wait until the sunset. Totally my kind of cultural activity!
You outfit is very summery.
ResponderEliminarI love the idea of an outdoor cinema. I'm guessing you don't have many mosquitos out your way.

Your outfit is oh so gorgeous, Monica. What a wonderful skirt, and I love, love, love how you're combining green and pink, which is one of my favourite combinations. It looks so fresh and summery. What a genius idea of your cobbler to paint a strip of pink on the heel. Such pretty sandals too, and I'm sure they'll be so much more comfortable. It's no good if a heel's too low! Love the outdoor cinema! Besos xxx
ResponderEliminarThis is such a cool outfit, Monica! I love the green and pink combo. Your earrings and necklaces are fabulous too!
ResponderEliminarPink and green , the colours of Bollywood! Absolutely glorious.
ResponderEliminarIt sounds like we're both experiencing unusual weather - here it's endless sunshine and sizzling temperatures and I'm loving it!
I've been to open air cinemas at festivals and absolutely loved them (although here we usually have to wear a coat!) xxx
Love these colors together, and your bag does look like a practical as well as chic one. And the open-air movies - such a summer treat. xox

Pink and green is one of my absolute favourite colour pairings - I love this outfit Monica! I saw Triplets of Belleville many years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters did remind me of ones from Jacque Tati films! M. Hulot's Holiday is one of my all-time fave films.
ResponderEliminarmwhaha, me too! Les vacances de M.Hulot is one of my favorite films ever!
EliminarWhat a fabulous colour combination you look lovely. The sandals are amazing and what a clever idea to add heels. I love the idea of an outdoor cinema...
