errands & purple

The weather has been unseasonably warm last weekend, which is becoming pretty usual and making more and more people worried about it. However we made the most of the situation so we went for a walk and run errands on Saturday morning. Obviously we also had our usual apéro, which is one of my favourite traditions ever.
We took advantage of the pretty grocery shops on a side of the market building, they always have the most colorful vegetables on their shelves!. Even the market, a beautiful 20's building, has some colorful tiles and lots of plaster garlands representing local vegetables and fruits!

And we also took pictures in front of the Theatre which encouraged to some tourists to do the same!. I recommend you to have a walk on your city while pretending you're a tourist, it gives you a different point of view.
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week!

  1. Waxed cotton! How fabulous is that skirt? I love it!
What an array of fruit and vegetables. I love the plaster friezes with the swags of fruit and that gorgeously elegant theatre. It's a good reminder to be a tourist in your own town, sometimes I'll look up and see architectural details I've never noticed before. xxx
PS I think we're sharing weather!

  2. What a lovely print on your skirt. I do love African prints. Love your little jacket with it; funnily enough the tights look cobalt blue on my screen. How lucky you can shop your mum's closet!!

The tiles on the theatre building are exquisite and I love the frieze with all the fruit and veg on it. There are often so many details on buildings that it's easy to overlook so it's a great idea to pretend to be a tourist in your own town - or even just look up for a change!!

It's been unseasonably warm here too; very strange weather indeed.

Hope you can enjoy more sunshine this week.

  5. You're looking fabulous, Monica! That skirt is a triumph, and I love how you styled it with fuchsia and purple and, not to forget, the stripy top! I love being a tourist in my own town, and if the weather's fine, I'm off exploring Antwerp in my lunch break. And we do have some very fine weather right now, just like you. It is crazy, but there's no reason not to enjoy it. Love the fruit and veg stall and that theatre is magnificent! Besos xxx
