fucsia & turquoise

I've been dressing in a riot of colour last week and received some comments (most of them were compliments, which is good enough for me, as you can't please everyone). Probably these same colour combos would be considered acceptable in summertime and people wouldn't blink an eye on them. But I like to wear the clothes that tickle my fancy, black or colourful, whatever the weather.
I would love to see any coats in red, pink or citron, instead of the usual sea of black puffy coats, even if I sometimes dress in black too!
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week!

  4. Such a beautiful marriage of colours! I love your boldly patterned skirt and clever you you made it yourself and the cardigan. Well done you. I love your new bangle too, what a lovely match to the skirt. The paisley trousers are great and what a very pretty cardigan that is. La Redoute does some lovely things things but I always wait for the sales - and I haven't bought anything from them for about 3 or 4 years. The second necklace is fabulous! I almost bought a similar purple one last week but it was too expensive.

I bet you make a lot of people very happy in your wonderful colours and patterns!

Hope you have a lovely week!

  5. You are always a sight for sore eyes, Monica, with the amazing colour combinations you wear. My special favourite is your happy IKEA fabric skirt, which looks really fab with the pink cardigan, turquoise opaques and pink trainers. And I'm totally in love with the necklace of your second outfit, too! I wonder why it is that wearing colours seems to be more acceptable in Summer. It should be quite the opposite, really, don't you think? We certainly need a bit of colour as an antidote in the dark Winter months. And you certainly deliver with your colourful outfits each and every time! Besos xxx

  6. No one is wearing bright colours here - it is a sea of black, down-filled coats. When I wear my pink winter jacket I usually get comments on it because it stands out so much. You are a breath of Spring!

  7. I've been dreading my return to England - after five weeks of women dressed in colour it's nothing but a sea of black and grey nylon puffa jackets! Nothing like that for you I'm happy to see, a joy to behold in your riot of Spring colour! x

  10. That skirt makes me so happy (my tights match it today)! I love seeing all these bright in winter. What is it with dull-coloured coats?? I need a new puffer (I hate the colour of my current poo-brown one), and there is nothing in an actual COLOUR. Hoping you are having a good week!
