It has become a tradition to make the most of Easter holidays by painting and decorating some rooms in our home. I painted our spare/guests bedroom two years ago and painted the living room last Easter (with Mr.A.'s major support). So now all the painting is done and we've got rid of the yellowish beige color that the previous owner considered appropriate whatever the reason.
However I had not ambitious plans for my Easter holidays this year, only doing some sewing and minor repairs at home.
My 'studio' with some work in progress and some pictures for inspo: Frida Kahlo, Iris Apfel, Mr. Chagall and an enamel picture made by my mom (based on a blue horses painting by Franz Marc), which is much appreciated.
There's probably a thousand things that could be improved in our flat, but I'm satisfied with not having ugly color walls!. All right, I also have curtains and lamps and some cute cushions!;D
Bueno, también he puesto cortinas y lámparas y unos cojines! ;D
I've been looking for some kind of grid panel to display my accessories and finally I found this one. I still have to sort out many necklaces and bracelets!
He estado buscando alguna clase de rejilla expositora para mis accesorios y al final he encontrado esto. Todavía me quedan unos cuantos collares y pulseras que colocar.
Our bedroom has some new pictures now. I took them in our holidays (love an old door!) and ordered to be printed on canvas in a local photo centre.
And I've stored most of my winter clothes which are now in this wardrobe into (recycled) plastic bags or boxes.

Hope you have had a fab holiday, whatever you did!. I've spent some time with my family and took this picture with mom who is becoming a blogger star!
Thanks for sharing your home - it's as stylish and colourful as you and your Mum are!!!
ResponderEliminarI absolutely love those teal walls and that amazing paisley bed cover and as a fellow fan of grand doorways your photographic prints are beautiful.
Your inspirational pictures are fantastic as is your storage solutions. I'm inspired! x
What a colourful and stylish home you have, Monica! I agree, having colourful walls is a priority. After all, your home should reflect your personality, so having neutral coloured walls would be so NOT you ;-) Your Mum's enamel picture is just fabulous, and I love the photos you took of the old doors. I love old doors too! You and your Mum are both looking fabulous, and yes, your Mum is definitely becoming a blogger star! Besos xxx
ResponderEliminarI adore those turquoise walls! Makes me think I should paint but that lasts all of a minute before I rethink the amount of work required. LOL
ResponderEliminarLove your shots with your stylish Mom.

ResponderEliminarI love all the bright colours in your home - it is time for L and I to start thinking about doing some redecorating, but we both find other things to do! Look at your mom, all chic and stylin'! I love her shoes!
ResponderEliminarNice photo of you and your stylish Mom! I can't stand living anywhere that has beige or white walls. I've been lucky that I've been able to paint the rooms in my last two apartments. Love the teal!
