blue gingham tops

Once more we've been pretending to be tourists, so taken pics in front of local monuments!. This is the front door of the Cathedral, a baroque style façade. And another interesting monument is this awarded gelateria where local fruits and vegetables are transformed into delightful icecreams! Can you imagine a 'fig tree shade' icecream?.
And they have lactose free icecreams too, which I love! (and it's not a sponsored post!)
Linking Visible Monday and hoping you're having a visible week!

- sandals, Chiruca / sandalias
- necklace, a present by Veronica (thank you!) / collar, regalo de Veronica

same combo Aug18
- self-sewed top / blusa de costura propia
- skirt, made of a second hand dress (old) / falda, hecha de un vestido de segunda mano
- bag, Matties (old) bought retail / bolso, Matties, comprado en tienda local

These are some of my last purchases at Sundays street market, and my first designer piece!. This skirt came from a pile of second hand stuff on a table, where its colors made it shine!. It's not my size, but anyway I feel happy, because it means that my skills in rummaging are increasing!. I'll be happy if any of my friends wear it!

  2. Sweet Etro find!

There is nothing quite like homemade gelato in Europe. The stuff we have here never compares.

Love all the visual coolness of that blue.

  4. I just love the sound of fig tree gelato - yes please!

I think gingham is always such a fresh pattern and I love your two home made tops. Perfect for hot summer days and they look equally good paired with trousers or skirts. You look great! An talking of skirts, no wonder that skirt caught your eye; it's beautiful! So glad you got some finds at the Sunday market!

The cathedral entrance is very impressive.

    Have a lovely weekend.

  6. I'd love to try one of those tempting ice creams! Yes please! Gingham is just perfect for Summer, isn't it? I love your home-sewn tops and that Paisley maxi made from an old dress! And of course I'm greatly admiring your rummaging skills. An Etro skirt, no less! I am in awe! Besos xxx

  7. Whoa, great score on the Etro skirt - silk and lurex is so luxurious! I find a few pieces of theirs here, but it's quite rare - they are one of those names that the average person doesn't know, though.

LOVE your wonderful aqua ensemble, Monica! You just look like summer. What a gorgeous backdrop for you - you live in such a beautiful town! Happy weekend, my dear!
