I've named it a 'Nine to Five' dress (because of the 1980 film and tv series which I watched as a teenager). I think it's totally the kind of dress that a woman working as a secretary or clerk could wear in the 80's. That was not my style then and not sure if it could be my style now. However I think that any dress can be styled differently just adding some accessories and a pair of modern-looking shoes. Incidentally, when I was trying to choose between these two necklaces, my inner voice told me to wear both of them, so I did it. My inner stylist's advice on accessorizing is usually 'pile them up, lady' ;DD
You can see other '9 to 5' dresses I wore previously here and here, even if I think these outfits need some improvement.
Linking Visible Monday and wishing you a visible week and a Slow Fashion Season.

This dress is stunning, love the shape on you and colours too!! Marvelous. I hope you have a great week ahead x
ResponderEliminar"Pile them up" is good advice! I love the way the turquoise necklace picks out one of the colours from the print.
ResponderEliminarI agree that every dress can be styled contemporary and you proved it perfectly here.
ResponderEliminarThe colours on the dress are fab!

That dress is fabulous every time I see it! I absolutely love it with the masses of turquoise accessories (always the best colour jewellery!) xxx
ResponderEliminarCuanto tiempo sin verte. Estas guapísima :)
ResponderEliminarLovely! Is that giant herringbone shading a texture in the fabric?
ResponderEliminarGreat accessories too!
Thanks for linking!
xxox
yes, it is!, there's a chevron-like texture under the paisley print.
EliminarI actually think you are looking fabulous in that 1980s dress. You are absolutely right: you can put any dress up-to-date, or adapt it to your style, by choosing the right accessories, like you did here. The two necklaces together are a match made in heaven! xxx
ResponderEliminarI love this dress - it's very good on your figure, makes you look very curvy and luscious! The trick with real vintage is to mix in contemporary accessories, which you've done perfectly. Love this look!
ResponderEliminarThe dress may not be the style you usually wear, but it is certainly your colours, and you make it look modern with your accessories.
