I wore similar outfits on Monday and Tuesday and even wore same coat, which was pretty comfortable and kept me cosy and in a good mood. It was just what I needed to cheer up the beginning of my week, as weather was gloomy and everybody looked a little bit sad because of having to work when it's still dark. Bringing my own sunshine in the form of a massive flower made me feel (almost) impervious to dull days ('clothing as armour' as Sheila says).
Linking (and doing) I Will Wear What I Like.
I'm enjoying the first of two bank holidays we have, Friday And Monday, which makes a long weekend!.
See you on the other side.

Who wouldn't be cheered up seeing you in that lovely skirt and all your colourful accessories and jewellery! I loved your bangle in the very last photo; fabulous colours!
ResponderEliminarThe dark mornings and early dark evenings can be very depressing but dressing in bright colours certainly helps to lift one's mood.
Have a fab weekend.

Clothing as armour indeed! Well said, Sheila!
ResponderEliminarI love that skirt, it's so cheerful and bright. The perfect antidote for these gloomy short days. xxx
I'm absolutely seconding Sheila in that clothing can be the perfect armour. And I'm so glad you kept out that fabulous massive flower skirt, so that we can get to enjoy it in the winter months as well. I think it's perfect for any season! I think it looks particularly effective with the blue turtleneck and mustard short-sleeved cardigan. I'm also admiring the jewellery you used to further enhance both outfits. I'm swooning over that bracelet! Hope you're having a lovely weekend! Besos xxx
ResponderEliminarOh, it is wonderful that your outfits improved your mood that much! I love them both and I find it wonderful you wear such vibrant colours and patterns also in winter!

ResponderEliminarOh, aren't you sweet - thank you so much for the shout-out! Yes, hooray for "clothing as armour", especially in the form of that bigass flower! I am in love with that prismatic bangle - it must go with everything! I would love to have all of my clothes out all year 'round, but I don't have a big enough closet. :-O
