urban walks
I've been back to walking my favourite paths as they are less and less frequented. However, I still prefer the safer neighbourhood parks and gardens, which are even less frequented.
He estado recobrando los paseos por mis senderos favoritos, que están cada vez menos frecuentados. Sin embargo sigo prefiriendo los parques y jardines de mi barrio, más seguros, porque están casi vacíos.
- trousers, second hand stalls at Sunday Street Market (some fitting was required) / pantalón, de segunda mano del mercadillo del domingo (hizo falta ajustarlos)
- linen blouse, La Redoute (ages ago) / blusa de lino, de hace siglos
- sneakers, Nike outlet (old) / zapatillas
- sarong as a scarf, ages ago / pareo a modo de pañuelo, antiquísimo
- straw bag, Etsy (old) / bolsito de paja
- necklace, Dayaday (old) / collar
Stopping to smell the roses in a suburban park. There are some amazing roses flower beds all around, but also lavender and rosemary bushes. It feels really summery.
Haciendo una parada para oler las rosas en un parque de las afueras. Hay algunos parterres de rosales muy floridos, también lavanda o romero, se siente ya el verano.
- trousers, Festa (ages ago) / pantalones
- blouse, second hand stalls at Sunday Street Market (worn Jul2019 and Sept2019) / blusa, de los puestos de segunda mano del mercadillo del domingo (anteriormente en Jul2019 y en Sept2019)
- necklace, artisan fair (many years ago) / collar, de una feria de artesanía, hace muchos años
- shoes, elementérre outlet (last year) / zapatillas, del año pasado
Showing you my booty of freshly picked cherries, right next to the orchard. It's cherries season and this means clafoutis (love it!). And I was wearing one of my favourite skirts, last time posted in April2017 but I have it ages ago!. Totally a keeper!
Hope you're well and keeping yourselves as fabulous as possible!
¡Espero que todos sigáis todo lo estupendísimos que podáis!

It's grey, gloomy and wet here this morning so your gloriously summery outfits have cheered me up!
ResponderEliminarI love the pretty white top with the blue trousers, that fabulously shaped tunic with the red cropped trousers and the print on your skirt is fabulous. How tasty do those cherries look? Very! xxx
Wow, freshly picked cherries are so delicious! And I love the looks you wore for your walks - so wonderful colourful and so you <3

So wonderful that you can go for a walk on your favourite paths. I guess that once the novelty of being able to go for a walk has worn off, lots of people will revert to their old, non-walking days! We waited a couple of weeks before going on a proper walk, which we finally did on Sunday. It felt so good! Your first outfit looks just perfect for a Spring walk, and what could be more Springlike than a crisp white linnen blouse? The cropped red trousers, worn with that amazing tunic and further pops of red is very cheerful too. But mostly I'm in love with the skirt of your final outfit. Those freshly picked cherries look delicious, by the way! Besos xxx
ResponderEliminarI'm surprised that more people aren't out and about! I'm glad you have space, though, for your walks, Monica. I love your second skirt - I just bought cherries today and can't wait to eat some!
ResponderEliminarYour outfits are so fresh and summery! I love cherries but haven't got any yet this summer - they are just starting to appear in our stores.
