- striped t-shirt, clearance sale (old) / camiseta rayas, liquidación
- jacket, ages old (90's?)

- skirt and tights, Snag (new!) / falda y medias Nuevas

Well done on finding that fun skirt and giving it a chance. It really deserved spending its second life with you. I've learned to ignore size labels and have things ranging from an XS to an XL in my wardrobe, which all fit. Loving the second outfit too, I'm glad to hear that the Snag skirt - I've seen them advertised - meets your approval. The colour is gorgeous too, and matches that fabulous scarf perfectly. And how fun are those striped tights! Nothing wrong with being things new once in a while, particularly if you can't find what you're looking for second hand! Besos xxx
ResponderEliminarTotally agree about ignoring size labels, I also have a huge range of sizes in my wardrobe!
EliminarI'm happy with this mini skirt and the striped tights, not so frequent to find something so comfy and colourful!

Escada made some fabulous clothes in the 1980s, that skirt was a great find and looks brilliant with your blue Docs.
ResponderEliminarI had no idea that Snag have started making clothes. i'm glad you're as pleased with the fit as you are with their amazing tights! xxx
You're right, Escada was great back in the 80's, I remember this blue colour being trendy (I still love it!).
EliminarI think that it's going to be a statement piece in my wardrobe. Same with Snag pieces, they fit and make me feel happy!

Oh, a designer skirt for 2 euros - what a brilliant bargain. It's a beautiful colour and it is fun. It goes with your blue boots and I loved it styled with the striped tee, jacket and scarf. Strangely enough, I saw an advert on IG for Snag clothes and had a look at the weekend. Your skirt looked fab and what a wonderful mix of purples and blues you wore with it. The spotty coat is just so gorgeous on you.
ResponderEliminarHope you find some more bargains like the Escada skirt!

Dear Veronica, I'm not that lucky so frequently, but keeping my eyes peeled for any quality pieces!
EliminarGlad you like this colour combo and the spotty coat, so lovely!

Escada was a quality brand in the 80's as Vix noted so it was probably quite expensive when new. I love the colour and that the pleats are almost like large fringe on the bottom. I prefer wearing skirts and dresses layered over tights, jeans, etc. instead of just wearing pants which are never warm enough for me.
ResponderEliminarYou're right, Escada was a quality brand back in the 80's, I do love some 80's fashion too!. Particularly happy with this colour and funny pleats.
EliminarAnd I also agree with you about wearing skirts and dresses in the winter, they layer nicely, and they add more warmth and interest (and all we need an extra dose of pizzazz in the winter)

I am amazed to see the blue and blue outfit looks amazing over you.

Ooh, Escada by Margaretha Ley! I have a tie and a knit skirt by her, and they are still making clothing. A good article here from their US site: https://us.escada.com/pages/about-escada. Vintage Escada is becoming more and more desirable.
ResponderEliminarThe quality is apparent, even through the screen. I'm glad you gave this a shot, as it looks fantastic on you! That 42 is around a size 12 US, I believe. Great find!
I also love your striped tights!
You have styled this 'new to you' blue skirt perfectly. I also really love your all purple outfit.
