These are my 'emergency outfits' of the week, and such a busy week it has been. Lots of work at the office, then some walking and also some sewing. Not complaining, as those are relaxing and refreshing activities. I've started a new sewing project, 'deconstructing' a second hand shirt to create something different, a patchwork/mending work. Whatever it results, it is really entertaining (learning by doing!). Totally a Jack of All Trades myself, particularly the part of Master of None. ;DD
- coat, retail (labe Sophiacurvy) / abrigo, tienda local, marca Sophiacurvy
-striped t-shirt, CandA (old) / camiseta de rayas
- red jacket, second hand, Sunday street market / chaqueta roja, de segunda mano, mercadillo del domingo
- tights, Snag / medias
- sneakers, Adidas outlet (old) / zapatillas
- bag, Emily The Strange (ages ago) / bolso, de hace siglos
- brooches, made by me (epoxy resin) / broches hechos por mí (resina epoxi)
- jacket, Nonapapallona (old) / chaqueta de Nonapapallona (antigua)
- skirt and tights, Snag / falda y medias
- boots, Treksta (old) / botas
- crochet scarf / bufanda de ganchillo
- necklace, retail (old) / collar, de una tienda local
Have a fab week!
Espero que tengáis una semana estupenda.
Hurray for emergency outfits in times of crisis! I love my three-days weekends in which I've got the time to play with my wardrobe, but I definitely need a batch of "here's one I prepared earlier" ones for working days.
ResponderEliminarI'm pleased to see that your cute little skirt has made it into your favourites, and I'm loving the outfit you created with it. That's my favourite, but in spite of your reservations, I am loving the other one as well. Have a fab week too, Monica! Besos xxx
I like the idea of emergency outfits! That new-to-you blue skirt looks absolutely wonderful with the red blazer and magical spotty coat and I love the shape of that purple kimono-like topper! xxx
ResponderEliminarLovely outfits! The first one in the red and blue was beautifully co-ordinated and what a fabulous scarf that tied it all together. The idea of an 'emergency outfit' is a brilliant idea. There are the occasional times when I can't decide what to wear and having an emergency outfit would be a saviour!
ResponderEliminarI'm looking forward to seeing your latest sewing project.

I love your red and blue outfit - we used to call those "car wash" skirts, as the flaps on the hem are like the strips that drag over a car in car washes. :)
ResponderEliminarI like the proportions of the pink and purple outfit - your legs look a mile long!
Emergency outfits are a great idea. My emergency looks are always dresses!
This red and blue combination is fantastic. I love how you wore it with sneakers.
