Summer Mornings

Last week has been another busy one, but I hope that July will be more relaxing. I've been taking some classes in the evening after work, but also running errands, crafting (when possible) and I even managed to start new sewing projects. Anyway, I'm far away from being obsessed with productivity, just making the most of my good mood, as I feel really better when it's not damn hot!.

La semana pasada ha sido también de mucho ajetreo, pero espero que julio sea más tranquilo. He estado yendo a clases por las tardes después del trabajo, sin dejar de hacer recados, manualidades (cuando he podido) e incluso he comenzado algunos proyectos de costura. De todos modos, no estoy en absoluto obsesionada con la productividad, simplemente aprovecho que tengo más energía ahora que no hace tantísimo calor!

I'd love to find a better red jacket, as this one is too long and not perfectly fitted. But the colour is amazing, so I'm keeping it and hoping for a better one.
The skirt was made of some second-hand scarves. I was particularly lucky in the scarves section back when charitiy markets were open. I'm looking forward that charity markets will be back soon, I miss them.
The red blouse is a revamped vintage one, an old favourite of mine that I keep even if it's tricky to match. It deserves to be worn more frequently!.
As a curiosity, these earrings were a birthday present from Mr.A. twenty nine years ago. Can we consider them homegrown vintage?, I think so.

Me encantaría encontrar otra chaqueta roja que fuese un poquito más corta y más entallada. Pero el color de ésta es estupendo, así que me la quedo mientras espero que aparezca otra mejor.
La blusa roja es vintage pero reformada por mí, y la tengo desde hace tiempo. Es algo difícil de combinar, pero me gusta y debería ponérmela más.
La falda está hecha con pañuelos de segunda mano. Tuve muchísima suerte encontrando montones de pañuelos en algunos mercadillos solidarios hace tiempo. Estoy deseando que vuelvan a abrir estos mercadillos, los echo de menos.
Como curiosidad, estos pendientes fueron un regalo de cumpleaños de Mr.A. hace veintinueve años. Creo que se pueden considerar vintage!.

This is something I've worn previously, same skirt and top and even same necklace (see it on August2018), as they go nicely (in my opinion). It was lovely to wear this comfortable outfit in a hot day. The jacket was worn only in the early (chilly) morning and in our air-conditioned office. I would only use air conditioning if feeling Really Uncomfortable, but my coworkers love it. I keep on fighting.

Esto ya me lo he puesto anteriormente (podéis verlo en on Agosto2018), misma falda y mismo top y también el mismo collar, ya que me parece que van bien (es mi opinión). Es algo muy cómodo y agradable para un día de calor. La chaquetita de lino me la puse sólo por la mañana temprano o en la oficina con el aire acondicionado. Por mí, sólo pondría el aire cuando hace un calor insoportable, pero mis compañeros de trabajo lo adoran. Sigo luchando en este tema.

We have had some spring-like days when temperature stayed under 20ºC, so long sleeves and cardigans came to the rescue. This outfit didn't make the cut, actually. The green blouse has been given to a friend who loves green, and the trousers have been degraded to work out clothes (comfy but blah).

Hemos tenido algunos días de clima primaveral, con temperaturas por debajo de 20ºC, así que hubo que recurrir a las mangas largas y chaquetas. Este conjunto no superó la prueba, en realidad. La blusa verde se la he regalado a una amiga a la que le encanta este color. Y los pantalones han pasado directamente al cajón de la ropa para caminar: son cómodos pero poco interesantes.

Another outfit that I've worn previously, but still going strong. The massive flower skirt is a favourite piece and I've noticed recently that this scarf matches it perfectly, so I can't resist to wear them together. Totally comfy and colourful, what else?!.

Otro conjunto que he repetido varias veces, pero aún no me cansa. Esta falda de la flor enorme es una de mis favoritas y hace poco me dí cuenta de que el pañuelo le va perfecto, así que es difícil de resistir ponerlos juntos. Comodidad y Colorido, qué más se puede pedir.
