Repeat, please!

We have had some Real Winter Weather last week, so I made some adjustments in my dressing up routine and embraced some heavy layering (which I need to stay warm at the office). But it was not enough!. Monday mornings are particularly cold in my office, not to mention that the archive room has not any heating, so I got a cold. Nothing that can't be managed with the help of some hot tea and a blanket (and some tv series). It's amazing that so many people have totally forgotten about how normal was having a cold in the Before Covid days!.
I enjoyed some free time because both Tuesday and Thursday were bank holidays this week!. Actually, it was an intermittent working week, very strange!. Many people took the whole week out and went on holiday/trip, so we had lots of touristic activity everywhere, crowds and traffic jams included. That means that festive season has reared its ugly head!. Not a huge fan myself, but I'm determined to have fun whatever the season!.

Ya llegó el invierno de verdad esta semana pasada, así que tuve que hacer ajustes a mi rutina y vestirme para estar cómoda en mi trabajo, con varias capas de ropa. Pero se ve que no fue suficiente. Los lunes hace más frío en la oficina (sin mencionar que el archivo ni tiene calefacción) así que me resfrié. Nada grave, lo he ido llevando con la ayuda de té caliente, mantita y algunas series. Me sorprende lo rápido que la gente ha olvidado que los enfriamientos y catarros eran de lo más normal en los tiempos Antes de la Covid.
Esta semana tuvimos festivo el martes y el jueves, así que tuve tiempo libre, aunque fue una sensación rara, un día sí y otro no de trabajo. Mucha gente se tomó la semana entera de fiesta y se fue de vacaciones/viaje, así que tuvimos la habitual invasión turística, atascos y multitudes. Que significa que ya está aquí esa bonita época festiva (/ironía). Ya se ve que no soy una entusiasta, pero ¡igualmente pienso pasarlo lo mejor que pueda!

I was feeling quite uninspired, so wore same skirt twice. Then picked another skirt and repeat!. It was a 'two skirts twice' kind of week.
This orange skirt was sewed by me using some Ikea fabric, ages ago. This wrap-around design is really versatile and fits you perfectly whatever you put on some weight or lose it. So it's totally a keeper!
Houndstooth jacket came from eBay (pre-loved) years ago. Grey turtleneck by La Redoute (old) and matchy grey tights (?). Adidas sneakers shopped at a local outlet shop. Crochet mittens. Vintage neckerchief. The brooch was a present. Wool coat was acquired at a clearance sale. Usual cork bag by Fine Cork Portugal. And earrings shopped at Eme.

Como no me sentía muy inspirada, me puse la misma falda dos veces. Y luego repetí la jugada con otra falda. Así que ha sido una semana de 'dos faldas dos veces'
La falda color naranja fue una de las varias que cosí yo misma hace años. Son faldas que se enrollan y se atan a la cintura, muy versátiles porque te acompañan pierdas o ganes peso! ;D
Chaqueta cuadritos de eBay de hace años. Cuello vuelto gris de La Redoute (antiguo) y unas medias del mismo color. Zapatillas de Adidas de una tienda outlet local. Mitones de ganchillo. Un pañuelito vintage. El broche fue un regalo. Abrigo de paño de una liquidación. El mismo bolso de corcho de siempre, Fine Cork Portugal. Y los pendientes los compré en Eme.

Orange skirt #2.
Same skirt and a similar colour combo, only more graphic-patterned. Also layered a scarf/shawl over a neckerchief as I was not feeling my best. Totally recommend this kind of 'doubled scarf' tip to keep you warm!. Striped tights by Snag and striped tshirt by CandA. Cardigan is around fifteen years old. Coat was shopped retail (label Sophiacurvy).

Falda naranja, segunda toma.
Misma falda y una combinación de colores parecida, sólo que con estampado más gráfico. También me puse una bufanda/chal sobre el pañuelito del cuello, una superposición que recomiendo para días fríos, y sobre todo porque no me sentía muy bien. Las medias son de Snag y la camiseta de rayas del CandA. Chaquetita punto antigüita de hace unos quince años. Y el abrigo de una tienda local (marca Sophiacurvy).

Another day, another skirt. This one was purchased at Sunday street market, second hand (label CandA), same for the bolero-cardi and the blouse. Tights by Snag. Sneakers as before. And some 'doubled scarf' strategy again, wearing a vintage neckerchief and a scarf shopped locally at Eme. Earrings by Ciclón and a charity shopped brooch.

Otro día, otra falda. Concretamente ésta vino de un puesto de segunda mano del mercadillo (la marca es CandA), y lo mismo la chaquetita y la blusa. Medias de Snag. Y de nuevo el truco de ponerse dos bufandas, primero un pañuelito vintage atado al cuello, y luego una bufanda de la tienda local Eme. Pendientes Ciclón y el broche es de la tienda solidaria Cáritas.

Floral skirt #2.
I've worn this same ensemble previously (Oct21) and I'll probably repeat it again if possible!. I can't resist some matchiness and also a huge fan of graphic t-shirts worn with floral skirts (not everybody's cup of tea!). That jacket was a present by my friend Sacramento years ago!. Local Theatre festival t-shirt. Usual cork bag by Fine Cork Portugal. Adidas sneakers, outlet. Earrings retail and birdie brooch was a present by Mom.

Falda de flores, segunda toma.
La misma combinación ya la puse anteriormente (Oct21) y probablemente me la volveré a poner si puedo. No me puedo resistir cuando todo conjunta y también me gustan mucho las camisetas con motivos gráficos con una falda de flores (ya sé que no es del gusto de todo el mundo). La chaqueta fue un regalo de mi amiga Sacramento, hace años ya!. Camiseta de un festival de teatro. El habitual bolso de corcho de Fine Cork Portugal. Zapatillas Adidas outlet. Pendientes comprados localmente y un broche regalo de mi madre.
