Lost In Summer

This is what I wore on my Birthday, that dress again!. It was another hot day (eve if not damn hot, 'only' 38ºC) so gauze-cotton dress to the rescue!. Not so easy to find a lightweight and colourful and comfortable dress, there's too much polyester out there. Another great quality is that I can wash it, hang it on a hanger outside and it's ready to go again in a few hours!. Any clothes that don't need ironing will receive my unconditional love nowadays. I do the ironing in the night to avoid melting myself, but it's still pretty annoying.
It was a quiet day, we just went for a walk, have our usual apéro and chatted with some friends. Then we stay at home the rest of the day, reading magazines and comics, watching old movies and I started to crochet a cardi for a friend. Totally my kind of fun. I'm so wild.

Esto es lo que me puse el día de mi cumple, el mismo vestido otra vez!. Fue otro día de calor, aunque no de los agobiantes, sólo hizo 38ªC, así que recurrí a un vestido de gasa de algodón. No es tan fácil encontral vestidos ligeros y coloridos y cómodos, hay demasiado poliéster por ahí. Otra excelente cualidad que tiene es que puedes lavarlo, colgarlo en una percha fuera y está listo para la acción en unas pocas horas. Cualquier prenda que no haya que planchar se gana mi amor incondicional hoy en día. Aunque me ponga a planchar de noche para no derretirme, sigue siendo fastidioso.
Tuve un cumple tranquilo, fuimos a dar una vuelta, tomamos el vermú y hablamos con algunos amigos. Luego nos quedamos en casa el resto del día, leyendo revistas y comics, viendo pelis viejas y empecé una chaquetita de ganchillo para una amiga. Una diversión salvaje, vamos.

As you can notice because of the crap photos, Mr.A. was not available to take my pics, so I had to take some mirror photos. Not my favourite thing ever, but that's Real Life!.
I recently shopped those completely normal black trousers (PuntRoma sales) and I'm quite happy with them. They're lightweight linen, well made and so comfy that I wore them again next day. Usually I'm not a huge fan of neutral/unremarkable clothes, but black trousers have been a staple in my wardrobe since I was a teenager, and still love black colour. And they match my crochet cardi!

Tal como podéis deducir por las fotos malas, Mr.A. no estaba disponible para tomarme fotos, así que tuve que apañarme con fotos de espejo, que no son lo mejor del mundo, pero así es el Mundo Real.
Hace poco compré estos pantalones negros completamente normales (en las rebajas de PuntRoma) y estoy muy contenta con ellos. Son de un lino ligero, bastante bien hechos y tan cómodos que me los puse también al día siguiente. Normalmente no me atraen las prendas de ropa neutras (sin interés), pero los pantalones negros han sido esenciales en mi armario desde la adolescencia, y aún me gusta el negro. Y además ¡combinan con mi chaqueta de ganchillo!.

Mismos pantalones negros al día siguiente, con mi camisa 'destruída', una camisa de segunda mano que corté y rasgué y luego recosí y le añadí botones. Y mis sandalias Wonders, ¡comodísimas!. Collar vintage y pendientes de la tienda local Eme.

More comfy trousers, this time some pinky ones acquired at a local business when in holiday. Top by Eme. Sandals by Chiruca outlet. Second hand denim jacket. Bag and bag strap were shopped locally.

Otros pantalones comodísimos, esta vez en tono rosado y comprados en una tiendecita cuando estaba de vacaciones. Blusa de Eme. Sandalias de Chiruca (outlet). Chaqueta denim de segunda mano. Bolso y correa ambos comprados localmente.

Some autumnal shades for a summer day at work, orange is the new orange!. Both top and skirt came from second hand stalls at Sunday street market. Scarf was charity shopped. Bag as before. Sandals by Chiruca (outlet). Necklace was a present. Ring by Ciclón.

Unos colores otoñales para un día de verano en el trabajo, siempre a favor del naranja. Camiseta y falda vinieron ambas de puestos de ropa de segunda mano del mercadillo. Pañuelo de un mercadillo solidario. Mismo bolso de antes. Sandalias de Chiruca outlet. Collar fue un regalo. Anillo Ciclón.

Finally, I'm showing my birthday present by myself, as I shopped some cute badges at Mitsou, Art Shop, most of them are typical local tapas, so cool!. Some of them live on my denim jacket now, where they're a great conversation starter too. I like to support local business.

Finalmente, os enseño mi autoregalo de cumple, ya que compré estas insignias de metal en Mitsou, Art Shop, sobre todo de pintxos locales típicos, que me hicieron gracia. Algunos se quedarán a vivir en mi chaqueta vaquera, desde donde sirven para iniciar algunas conversaciones interesantes. Siempre a favor del comercio local.
