Belated Winter

I'm having mixed feelings about this winter weather, because rain and snow are welcomed visitors but it's difficult to deal with changeable temperatures and strong winds. The weather keeps being a challenge, as we can 'enjoy' a sunny but crispy cold morning, wind, storms and hail in one day. And the same (or totally different weather conditions) next day. So I've been wearing whatever I fancied and throwing caution to the wind (but still wearing a waterproof coat!)

Este invierno tardío que ha llegado de pronto me produce sentimientos encontrados, porque la lluvia y la nieve son bienvenidos y tan beneficiosos, pero resulta difícil la vida diaria con estas temperaturas cambiantes y el viento es molesto. El tiempo sigue siendo un reto cada día, ya que hemos 'disfrutado' de una mañana heladora con sol, viento, tromba de agua y granizo y todo esto en un día. Y al día siguiente lo mismo, ¡o algo totalmente diferente!. Así que me he puesto más o menos lo que me ha apetecido, sin mayores consideraciones (pero tampoco soy tan atrevida, no he dejado de llevar un abrigo impermeable)

Orange is the new orange, again and again!. I wore same pre-loved dress (Vinted) with same orange puffer jacket again, but changed accessories and added my yellow boots and a matchy turtleneck. Not only damn colourful, but also incredibly comfortable!. Colour therapy for a dull day at work!
Puffer jacket, boots by NortFace (outlet) and new turtleneck were shopped retail.

A tope con el naranja otra vez, he repetido este vestido (segunda mano) de Vinted con la misma chaqueta acolchada, pero esta vez cambié los accesorios y añadí estas botitas amarillas y un cuello vuelto a juego. Además de un colorido coruscante (bien!), este conjunto tiene la virtud de ser comodísimo. Colorido terapéutico para animar un día aburrido!

On the other hand, I still wear sensible clothes when required (snow forecast!). Those wool trousers were acquired at a clearance sale, pullover was a second hand find, cardi-thing was shopped retail years ago, and shoes by Camper. Necklace by Aïta (old). Earrings by MateriaRica (link 'cause I love), shopped them retail. Crochet scarf and hat. Usual cork bag by Fine Cork Portugal. Usual coat by Seasalt.

Por otro lado, todavía sigo siendo prudente y eligiendo ropa adecuada al clima cuando hace falta (por ejemplo si hay previsión de nieve). Este pantalón de lana lo compré en una liquidación, el jersey es de segunda mano y la chaqueta/red es de una tienda local de hace años. Zapatos Camper. Collar de Aïta (antiguo). Pendientes de MateriaRica (enlace porque me gustan!, aquí no hay patrocinios). La bufanda y el gorrito son de ganchillo. El habitual bolso de corcho es de Fine Cork Portugal. Y el habitual abrigo es de Seasalt (ya tiene unos años).

I was looking forward to wearing this new-to-me dress that I recently acquired at Vinted. It's a cotton gauze dress so some serious layering was required. I wore a turtleneck and added a cardi for extra warmth, and my shearling coat on top (all of them were purchased second hand too). Tights by Snag (Beach Bum, a favourite colour). Shoes by Camper.
Not totally happy with that accessorizing (I was running late in the morning), so next time I'll layer some necklaces, brooches and bracelets until reaching an adequate level of maximalism ;DD

Estaba deseando estrenar este vestido que es nuevo-para-mí, comprado en Vinted. Es de gasa de algodón así que hizo falta añadir capa sobre capa. Me puse un cuello vuelto debajo y añadí una chaquetita encima para más abrigo, y el abrigo de piel vuelta al final (todo ello es de segunda mano también). Medias de Snag (el color es Beach Bum, uno de mis favoritos). Zapatos Camper. No estoy contenta del todo, creo que se puede mejorar con algunos accesorios (iba tarde por la mañana), así que la próxima vez ya le añadiré collares, broche, pulseras y todo lo que haga falta para alcanzar el adecuado nivel de maximalismo.

Finally, that's my Monday outfit and it's another layered one!. Obviously, there's a (red) turtleneck under my lightweight dress, then I added a wool cardi-vest and my coat!. Put on my biker boots (retail) and a colourful cotton scarf for an extra layer, and more colour!. I'm making the most of my crochet cardi-vest, sometimes the projects you made of leftovers became your favourite ones (probably because they're unique!)

Finalmente, esto es lo que me puse este lunes y lleva también bien de capas. Evidentemente, hay un cuello vuelto (rojo) para empezar, luego el vestido que es bastante ligero, y luego le añadí este chaleco-chaqueta de lana y el abrigo. Me puse mis botas moteras (de una tienda local) y un pañuelo de algodón, para más color. Estoy sacándole mucho partido a este chaleco-chaqueta de ganchillo que me hice de sobras de lanas, a veces estos proyectos 'residuales' resultan ser los que mejor salen (probablemente porque son irrepetibles).
